Who we are
MadCoolSocial is a product operated by MadCool LLC (the "Company", "we", "our", or "us"). Contact: hello@madcoolsocial.com.
What we collect
When you use MadCoolSocial we collect:
- Account information — name, email, business name, billing details you provide directly.
- Brand profile — the answers you provide during the onboarding intake (industry, voice samples, target audience, do-not-post topics, approved source URLs).
- Connected social accounts — OAuth tokens for the social platforms you connect (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, X, TikTok, YouTube, BlueSky, Mastodon, Reddit, Pinterest, etc.). We use these tokens only to publish posts you have approved.
- Generated content — drafts produced for your account, your edits, approvals, and rejections.
- Usage and engagement data — published-post performance metrics we pull from connected platforms to help tune future drafts for you.
What we do with it
We use the information above to deliver the service: drafting posts that match your voice, scheduling posts you approve, publishing them to your connected accounts, and reporting back on performance. We do not sell personal information. We do not share your brand profile, drafts, or connected-account data with third parties except as required to operate the service (for example, our hosting providers and the social platforms you have connected).
Connected social platform data
When you connect a social account, the platform issues us an OAuth token scoped to the actions you authorized (typically: post on your behalf, read post analytics). We store these tokens encrypted at rest and use them only to fulfill scheduled posts you have approved. You can revoke our access at any time from the platform's own settings, or by disconnecting the account from MadCoolSocial.
Retention
We keep your account, brand profile, drafts, and published-post records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support billing, audit, and legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@madcoolsocial.com.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email hello@madcoolsocial.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes
We will update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to active customers.
